| Sparrow took her first walk! Sparrow has been home a little over a week. She is so sweet and has really warmed up to us fast. She was such a timid rescue that her foster didn't want to give her to a new family without a whole lot of visits over a period of a couple of months. When we first got Sparrow home she wouldn't walk around much outside. She basically stayed completely still because she was so unsure of everything. She even went to the bathroom just a few feet away from the house. We tried having her on a leash and off leash as she followed my daughter's Chihuahua. Sparrow wouldn't do it, but today we went for a walk and she took her first few steps. She eventually picked up some speed after about 5 minutes, and she was pretty comfortable with it after about 15 minutes. We went just a few short yards in the first 15 minutes. She seemed to be a pro at walking on a leash once she really got going. I'm so very happy to have a cute little Yorkie in my life. |

| That's great! Every accomplishment is a big gain in the life of a rescued yorkie. It's so wonderful that you rescued her.
