| Nina doesn't like other dogs!! Help I'm so disappointed because everytime I introduce Nina (4 mo.) to another dog, she becomes defensive or aggressive. What is the best way of socializing my puppy?? |

| By trying again, and again and again...untill she gets used to and friendly towards them. You want to praise her when she shows a positive interest on other dogs and reprimend with a big NO when she turns agressive towards them. Also, i meant to tell you before, my breeder also has a forum (in portuguese) and here is the link in case you wanna take a look!Forum Amantes do Yorkshire Terrier |

Try to find someone who has a nice social dog and let them play.....watch her very closely....you will know when her thoughts change from curious toward being fearful of aggresive....stop her then...get her attention..and try again and again..... DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO "BABY" HER WHEN SHE IS SCARED!!!! She will learn that and become fearful so she can get that attention from you |

| My parents have bigger dogs, but they are very sweet and love other dogs..one is a lab/german shepard and the other is a Golden Retreiver. Kelsey (my dog) took a couple sniffs at them and growled and about chewed their heads off! But theyre bigger..so maybe it's a small dog/big dog fear? |
