| Indoor potty options for boys Hey Lovely Yorkie People! A friend mentioned today he is having a hard time with his little guy using piddle pads. He is raising his leg and going off the pad. I think I remember a thread about this but it has been quite a while and I can't find it. If anyone has a product/idea to pass along I would appreciate it

| I have read that you could wrap pads around a 2 liter soda bottle and place in the middle of the pad works. This would give him something to spray against and you just need to change pads. Good luck, hopefully this will help some.

| I had this problem when Max's pad was in his xpen. Our solution was to move the pad a foot or more away from any vertical surface or object. Max still lifts one foot off of the floor, like a ballet move, but he doesn't do an actual leg lift, lol.

| We used a gatoraide bottle in the center of the pee pad. It worked really well. We cut and wrapped a pee pad around the bottle and just changed the pads as needed. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I would recommend the same. I used a pad placed flat on the floor and away from any walls and he got the hang of it very quickly.

| I did the same thing with my boy Jersey who is 7 months old today. I put something in the middle for him to pee on but he did not seem to like it. |
