gosh, you have your hands full dont you!?! i'm sure you already have it bookmarked, but with such a young'un (8 weeks) you'd really benefit from looking up some of the threads on how to give these little ones the special care and tlc they need; 12 weeks is recommended for bringing them home, so he could have used an extra month with his momma and littermates.

Yes, I totally agree.
The reason I brought him home early is because the previous "parents" were...how do I put this nicely...being irresponsible. They had already separated Arion from his mommy at five weeks and were feeding him way too much Gatorade. According to my research, puppies and dogs are given Gatorade to counter the effects of hypoglycemia and/or dehydration; however, Arion was neither dehydrated nor was he showing symptoms of hypoglycemia.
When we brought him home, he adjusted quickly and is continuously thriving. I brought him home because I knew I could give him the care he deserves and desperately needed.
My hubby and I run our own business so we are home with the puppies all the time. We take them when we run errands. We even take them to meetings. Quite frankly, if people have problems with a couple of quiet and well-behaved puppies in their crates, I probably wouldn't want to do business with them anyways .
I probably spend more time researching about yorkies (I mean I've been a dog owner for a long time, but Apollo and Arion are my first yorkies) than anything else. Thank goodness my hubby takes care of everything else (squeaky laughter).
With all that being said, thank you for all the replies and advice.

I totally agree that Arion should have been with his mommy and siblings for a few more weeks; but the previous human "parents" separated him from his mommy and siblings at five weeks. They were feeding him way too much Gatorade. Now, I understand that puppies and dogs are given Gatorade to counter the effects of hypoglycemia and/or dehydration (I personally wouldn't give my dogs Gatorade); however, Arion was neither suffering from hypoglycemia nor was he dehydrated. They were feeding Arion Gatorade thinking that he wouldn't eat solid dog food. They're not bad people, just lacking information and/or misinformed (I'm being optimistic here).
My hubby and I run our own business so we are able to stay with the puppies all day long. We take them everywhere...even to business meetings. A couple of quiet and well-behaved puppies in their crates won't hurt anyone...am I right? I brought him home early because I knew I can give him the care he deserves and desperately needed. He is thriving physically and mentally. Well maybe except the ocassional teasing by my hubby, you know, the whole squirrel NK army walk thing (hahahaha). My hubby was never a dog person until Apollo and Arion came along. He makes fun of them because he know he cannot live without them (muahahaha).

Oh goodness...the ears!!!
He literally looks like a desert fox. At birth, his ears were droopy then at 4 months, one was droopy and one was straight (I love it). Today, as you know, he looks like the offspring of a chihuahua and a desert fox.
