Dock Diving I do have a video on it, and there is a short clip on my profile page (jjust click on my name and you should see it)

But Dock Diving is when a dog jumps off of a dock to go retreive a toy in the water. The jump if you are doing competitive dock diving is measured in how long the jump was, and for vertical competition how high the dog jumped.

It's a blast ; if you and your dog like to get wet, you both have an awesome time!

Ohhhhh ok I've seen competitions on tv of those. But Yorkies really train for that? I just thought that was for bigger dogs especially labs.

my dog goal is to get another yorkie! my dear sweet Kiva died on Oct 2 and the house is way too empty and dead.

also maybe by the end of the year a yorkie rescue too. i want to have quite a few. i have so much love to give...

It is open to all breeds and all dogs large or small. You don't have to compete, but it is a fun time for you and your dog!

Yorkies make excellent Earth dogs, they are a trial to train in obedience (but so worth doing), they are great hikers and explorers, they can be trained to dance with you, almost anything you have a great interest in, they will happily be by your side sharing in!.

i want to get me a girlie but i want her to be a rescue. i cant stop thinking of all the puppy xmas death stories on here the last couple days (please do ur reasearch. it could save a furr babie.) now i understand why the yt regulars get so upset. anywho more training with my furr babies and finish my grooming studies to get my certificate!

I want to teach Jillie a few more tricks. Already got a good start -- she learned the sneeze trick yesterday after a week of practice. I'd also like to start her in nosework. She loves having a job to do. I've been holding off because it's kinda nice not having to crate her while Eddie searches and vice-versa, but I'm being selfish.

Eddie needs to recertify for his therapy dog work in June, so we'll be brushing up on his leave-its and loose-leash walking.
