| ![]() I am the true sucker when I go into PetSmart these days. They moved one of the small dog rescue groups near the front door so I see them when I come in. They have puppies and seniors, mainly poodles, but all super cute and just wanting a forever home. They always have a sign saying they are accepting food donations, preferably small breed food., I have my two lovely babies and cannot imagine them anywhere but in my home, snuggled and loved with beds all over the place - even though they do still try to eat poop! I can only handle the two fur babies I currently have, but still feel for all of the other ones I see. So now every time I go into PetSmart I end up buying a large bag of Wellness Small Breed dog food and donate it on the way out. (Good thing I only go about twice a month ![]() They are always very grateful when I drop off the bag of food. I asked the first time what brand they preferred to try to help them be consistent, they said anything would be great. I pressed and they said they were currently feeding Wellness - so that's what I got. I know we can't rescue every dog, but every little bit helps. Thanks for listening to my soap box. ![]() |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() That's so nice. I haven't been able to volunteer at the shelter for awhile but I try and donate spare money when I can. I know the dedicated people who run these rescue's and shelters really appreciate every thing they get.

| ![]() I try to buy a couple of cases of canned cat/kitten food a few times a year and drop it at the shelter- many shelters have websites with wishlists- or the things they most need.

Yorkie Yakker | ![]() We like to donate canned food for our shelters. One specifically is not allowed to buy canned food becasue of budget constraints, so it really helps to have it donated. There are some animals at the shelter that have a need for canned. |
