Thumbs up Consider Donating Food

I am the true sucker when I go into PetSmart these days. They moved one of the small dog rescue groups near the front door so I see them when I come in. They have puppies and seniors, mainly poodles, but all super cute and just wanting a forever home. They always have a sign saying they are accepting food donations, preferably small breed food.,

I have my two lovely babies and cannot imagine them anywhere but in my home, snuggled and loved with beds all over the place - even though they do still try to eat poop! I can only handle the two fur babies I currently have, but still feel for all of the other ones I see. So now every time I go into PetSmart I end up buying a large bag of Wellness Small Breed dog food and donate it on the way out. (Good thing I only go about twice a month) I see the same couple with the pups every time I go. They run the rescue and are always super nice. So I make a donation for all of the other Abby and Max's out there waiting for a forever home.

They are always very grateful when I drop off the bag of food. I asked the first time what brand they preferred to try to help them be consistent, they said anything would be great. I pressed and they said they were currently feeding Wellness - so that's what I got.

I know we can't rescue every dog, but every little bit helps.

Thanks for listening to my soap box.
