| Welcome--- I agree crate train also... We had a hunting/house dog that was crate trainned and my husband hated it. Max was 3 years old and he didn't take his crate because of limited space where they where staying, and we never locked him in anyway he was free to come and go. But anyway they where gone for the weekend and he passed all night everynight looking for his kennel. Too funny we didn't even know he was sleeping in it at night, cause he was starting out in bed with us.

| HI and welome to YT. Congrats on your new baby. Hot Rod was in his crate for about 4 or 5 days before hubby got an expen. After that, his crate, potty pad, water and toys were all in there for him. I got a baby monitor also and could listen when he needed to go potty when he was in his crate. After the expen, I could hear when he got up and was playing.
