| Hello Everyone! New mom troubles I am proud to say I am a new mommy to a 10 week old yorkie. His name is Shadow, he follows me everywhere. I have had him for 4 days and I definitely have my hands full. This is my first dog ever, and I am really excited about it. I researched yorkies for over a year before my husband and I decided to purchase, and that still didn't quite prepare me for my little guy. The first day and night went well, but I am unsure if I possibly "babied" him to much. Now when he is left in a room alone in a controlled area he whines and does something that sounds like a scream. I have read a lot of posts on this forum about how to handle it so hopefully I can do so appropriately. If any one has any advice I am open to it and I will continue to check the posts out for some info. Thank you all for the welcome.
