				   | I could never have left Jackson at Petsmart - I know some groomers there are good, but he would be scared out of his mind with a window where everyone can see, and other dogs, and all the ruckus going on. Ugh, can't even imagine doing it to him. ![]() I am sorry you had a bad experience. Price sounds normal for this area. I ended up finding a mobile groomer and pay $55 + $10 tip. She's done in under an hour and a half and does a fantastic job. Best of all, no cages, no cage dryers, low stress, right in my own driveway.

![]() I had to completely re-start our training to de-sensitizing him to nail trimming and we are just now, almost two years later, getting better with it.

				   | My girls are not kenneled at the groomers. They were raised in their kennels at home though, but I switched to a pack n play about a year ago. I was taking care of my mother-in-law last Oct. and the cancer finally took her. Well, when she passed away, my girls would no longer go in them and I had to think of other options. They cried terribly at night and nothing we did for several weeks seemed to help. |

				   | Typical price for grooming in my area is $50-$60. I've used 4 different groomers so far - two out of their homes and 2 pet stores, including PetSmart, and so far PetSmart has given Oz the best cut. I like that they will also take him as a walk in just for nail trim. We only get him groomed about every 2 months, but his nails need to be done more often and I don't feel safe doing it myself because my hands shake too much.

				   | Exactly the reason why I chickened out a couple weeks ago...I don't trust anyone with my baby, so guess who's doing the grooming now. Yep, yours truly! Don't worry hair always grows back. |

				   | Hi, I use Angela at Petco on Hwy 9 (I believe it is actually in Milton). She is so good with the dogs and if you ever look in there the place is full of Yorkies. Michael is the Manager, he is good also and I would use him in the case of an emergency. Tell her Sophie sent you. If you want to see some examples of her grooming work I will attach a picture (I hope this works). If it doesn't work you an look at the photos in my album, Angela did her grooming in the 2010 and 2011 Holiday pictures.

				   | We have 4 dogs 3 of them get groomed Basil is still too young. We have a wonderful place near our home and although they are a little on the high side $62 they do a wondful job. I would never take our dogs to Pet Smart to be groomed. I've known people who bring their dogs to the vet at Pat Smart I know that would never happen. |

				   | Mine had to stay over night when she got her LP surgery and she was alert enough to know where she was. She didn't have a problem with the crate but she had a problem being alone. Had her and my moms yorkie not gone to the groomer and been there for 3 hours every 6 or so weeks there is no way she would have ever handled being left there because she is so used to having some one around 100% of the time. She would crawl up whoever would open the kennel to check on her so they would hold her as long as they could. Wouldn't potty, wouldn't drink or eat. Had she hated kennels it would have been worse.
