I really think that PMs directly would put many of these things to rest quickly. If only we could get more people on board with this idea.

Yep, I totally agree. I'm sure I've given a few T***** a few points on a game card before. Ugh. I like the idea of responding via private message!!!

People will never agree because they will say that the poor person is not getting any help.

Sometimes it is obvious...but many times not; and the problem is that no one will EVER agree on whether or not it is real even if it is blatantly obvious.

Come on Sure you shot a protected how it a bullet from a shot gun then beat it's head in and tried to drag it back to your house only for it to take flight while attached to your dog leash. People actually believed this insane story. That troll scored dig time with that TALL TAIL

Well, sometimes we can't always tell who the troll is, so that's why I say to answer unemotionally. Lots of threads upset me, especially those training threads where someone expects there 8 week old puppy to be housebroken and "knows not to go on the carpet, but does it to spite me." If I'm too emotional, I try not to answer.

Can't really remember the Hawk on the leash thread that well, do you have a link? Are you saying that I responded to it? I usually don't respond on the ones where I'm sure they are a troll.

When in doubt, let the Mods sort it out. They can check IPs, past bans, past registrations, emails, past problems. They can also see if a post just doesn't add up in other ways. This software even makes it easy to report a post right to them

Troll is a 'shortened' term based on fishing sarcasm: which as gone all IM used widely on the net now for a certain type of individual (specifically on the net).

A "trawler" scrapes along the bottom with a giant drag net and dredges up all kinds of $#!%...but I like the
