| Silly things your yorkie fears... Yesterday while putting in a new garbage bag I realized Nikko is afraid of the garbage bags!! As soon as he sees me take out the bag he runs out of the kitchen. What frightens him is when I snap the bag open before putting it in the can. I could hear him growling from the living room, LOL He is such a brave boy that after the bag was safely in the can he came prancing back into the kitchen as cocky as ever. It prompted me to wonder what other silly stuff our babies are afraid of. Here's just a few of Nikko's other household enemies: curtains (he growls & barks at them when he sees them swaying with the breeze) vaccuum cleaner (the sound drives him nuts) the drain (the gulping sound of bathwater going down the drain makes him growl) the computer chair (the wheels scare him) What silly things do your pups fear?

| My puppies are scared of the vaccum too! The other day we had all the windows open in the house and I had hung a shirt on a hanger right in front of the window to dry and the breeze was making it move and little Charlie barked at it non stop until I finally had to take it down!!! It was the funniest thing!!! And so cute!!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | This sounds weird but my husband is now on an oxygen machine...when he lays on the tube by accident.... it lets out a really loud whistle and Chanel RACES behind the couch hiding and shaking - she is really REALLY scared of it and not scared of anything else in my whole house - I have to coax her out and feel so bad seeing her skake. the funny thing is Cheri isn't bothered at all the the noise and will look up but that's all - and she is the real baby in the house normally...but Chanel is terrified by that whistling noise. |

| Thats funny! We also have the trash bag ordeal,, but he wants to attck it,, if I lay it down he wont go near it, but as soon as I pick it up he is in attack mode. He has a fear of any kind of grate,.. the street water grates.. or even the heating vents on the floor, if his toy goes on it he wont get it, he will sit and bark at it until I, get it off of it.

| Aren't they a riot sometimes? Oh yeah, I almost forgot Nikko's worst enemy, the grocery shopping cart. I have a small red one I take to the market and he throws a fit when he sees me wheeling it.

| JPop is scared of the fly swatter. I've never spanked him with it, but used to threathen my cat (RIP) with it, so I guess he remembers it. I certainly use it to my advantage when he is being bad; barking nonstop, etc. Stops him in his tracks everytime. All I have to do is let him see it. |

| hmmmm.... I have not found anything that Wosie fears yet. At 5 months old, she is still pretty curious about everything. My Angel, though, was deathly afraid of thunder. She would cower and want to be held through any storm. She was also afraid of the sound of woodworking machinery, and whenever my husband was in the workshop in the basement, she had to be in my arms. Makes it tough when you are trying to cook dinner, lol! Jasper was too dumb (no, really, he was!) to be afraid of anything. I loved my Jasper greatly, but I swear he was mentally handicapped! He was just one of those sweet, loving, but dumb "oh I am a dog, oh yes I am a dog" kind of pups. He was trainable, but just did not show the finely honed intelligence of either Angel or Wosie. You can just see it in the girl's eyes. Not Jasper, lol!

| Samson is also afraid of garbage bags. He stays far away when I take one out. I try not to make too much noise with it when I open it. |

| Biddy is afraid of all plastic bags. When I bring in the groceries I just put a few bags in front of the front door and she won't go near it!! It's great because I can leave the door open while I'm bringing in the groceries & I knw she won't run out!

| Chloe is afraid of alot of things: the vaccuum cleaner, the electric mixer, thunder, and she is scared of boxes. If I dont want her to go out of the room I can just put a shoe box near the door and she wont go near the thing. Daisy hasnt showed any fears towards anything yet.

| Yorkie fears! Was a bit chilly the other night and we lit a fire in the fireplace. Talk about a spooky yorkie!!! As soon as she noticed the flames and could hear the crackling, she barked non-stop for about five minutes!!!! |
