| Yorkies and Horses? Saw the ad on here for horse.com and was wondering how many of our yorkie people also have horses? We have horses and travel to several beautiful riding spots and take our yorkie. We have a horse trailer that has living quarters and "Jersey" is perfect to take along. We don't have a trailer with huge living quarters as some of them are, so space is at a premium. That is why ""Jersey" gets to come along and the others have to stay home. Just wondering if anyone else brings their yorkie along? |

| Sounds so awesome! I have a horse, but I don't have a trailer, so I can't travel to trails....yet! It is my dream to someday! Would LOVE to have a trailer with living quarters!!! My husband used to joke and tell me I need a Yorkie pouch to put on Phoenix for when I ride. Not such a bad idea really, but now I'd need two pouches! My horse is at a private stable...there are only 10 horses there and it is a horse's paradise. But, because of that, I never take my Sophia and Peyton with me, so my horse and my Yorkies have never met. I hope to someday have acres and acres and my own horse barn!

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Oh yes we take the yorkies and cairns with us always. Are living quarters are very small but we make it work. And when we go with our friends they have schnauzers and others have cresteds we all have a blast and they all get along great.. We try to take a day to take them hiking and walks everyday. But if we are somewhere they can run they are loose and they stay with us. It's great fun. The dogs usually out number the horses and humans

| Aww, I bet Jersey loves going too! I used to spend a lot of time at horse shows and even went to college for horses. I am passionate about horses (and dogs). While my girls are in college, we are taking a break from horses and I miss them (horses) terribly. I don't see a lot of Yorkies at shows in our area though. A lot of dogs there but not very many Yorkies. Mine stayed home with dad since he is not a horsey person and everyone was safe that way. I always worried I would lose one through a door that didn't get closed in the rush of making class times, or get stolen. My Mylee would not be a good traveling dog, but Moka would be great! Some of the living quarters (and horse quarters too for that matter ) of those trailers are like a moving house! Very nice!

| We have 4 horses and will be getting our yorkie Saturday! She will definately be introduced to the horses and will go with us riding. We just got a trailer this spring with living quarters. They aren't big, but will work for us right now. So she'll have her own bed in the trailer too. Our Australian Shepherd also comes with us riding. He loves camping. Any time he sees us hooking up the trailer, he freaks out and cannot wait to get in the truck to go! |

| We don't own horses and I'm not really a "horse person" per say but Jackson has been around quite a few of them. We live on 3 acres but behind us is a 90 acre farm and they have lots of horses, plus my dads house is also located on a farm so I take Jackson on the four wheeler with me and we often go down to visit the horses. Plus my step-dad has racehorses so I'll sometimes bring him along for the ride and he gets to see them sort of up-close. lol. He seems very confused by them - like he wants to play and thinks they are big dogs, and then when they make noises, he backs away like "WTH was that?!"

| I have a print of a horse in a stall that is nose to nose with a greyhound that is in the alleyway of the barn. I would love to have a similar picture with a yorkie! |

| What a neat video! It is so fun to take dogs camping with you. It seems like it helps break up the time! We went up north to North Dakota over 4th of July and our friends brought their German Shepherd. We had such a fun time with the dog, almost as much fun as riding horse! |

| My mom has 7 horses, I traded the horses for dogs. I don't allow harley in the barn because our barn cat has brought home larger rabits than Harley, so he stays in the house or in my jacket. The horses really didn't know what to think of Harley, and Harley barks at them. lol
