| Going for a walk? With winter coming I doubt my puppy and I will be going out for many walks...he is 4 1/2 months old, when have gone out for walks (he loves to chase blowin in the wind leaves) he would go about 3 houses up the street and two houses down, then he would not budge. He loves just going up and down that area, sniffing around. I am hoping that we can go on long walks, exploring, my last yorkie loved doing this. Could he be different? He loves playing in the house, right now he is running around and playing with his toys...I hope he also loves walks!!! |

| Sometimes when they are very young they spook easily. Sophie did when she was that age. The older she grows the more she wants to explore. Now she's the bravest little girl in the world and loves her walks in all kinds of weather

| Awww...he's still such a tiny baby He's got to know his local territory, which will expand as he grows up, but he's king of it at the moment and probably finds 'beyond' a little scarey. Just give it time and keep it gradual - he'll probably be walking you off your tired feet in no time Good luck! Sally + Harry x |

| He is still young he will get used to longer walks when he gets older just keep trying to take him a little bit farther each walk. My Chachi would walk as far as you want to take him but hes 6 and used to walks
