				   | Hi everyone...I know I've been gone for a while. Please forgive me. Mason, who's 3 yrs old is doing well. He's very laid back and doesn't have a care in the world and Ivy, who's 16 months is a hand full, but finally is housebroken and crate trained. She and Mason get along so well. He takes care of her even when she nags him. LOL. Now that I've gotten them in a great place, I have decided to add another. However, it won't be yorkie. I used to have a Maltese years ago and decided that my last one would be a male maltese. I'm so very nervous as I've never had 3 before. I hope to get him this weekend. Any advice/suggestions on how to make this transition would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

				   | And they, all get along great: Leila (Black lab), Lola (shih tzu), Guinea (Yorkie/Pom mix) and Faith (Yorkie). The one thing I will say, there is a lot more loving needed. Each one requires some time from you. Best of luck with your new baby, and post pics! Is he a pup or an adult? |

He's a puppy. 10 wks. I'm glad to know you have 4 and they get along. How do you do it? I'm so nervous. I'm home all day during the week, so I have plenty of time for all three. I've tried so many times to post pics and have been unsuccessful. I'm so not good at computer stuff. | |

				   | I had 7 dogs at one point (I had a big house with plenty of room). It's great to have multiple because they can keep eachother entertained, but it is more work to keep them all groomed and clean. Also food can get pricey after a while, but its worth it. Right now I just have 3 (I'm fostering my sisters maltipoo for a few months). But I love having a home full of pups.

				   | Living with my parents and sister, between all of us, there are 4 dogs in the house. 2 are mine, 1 is my mom's and 1 is my sister's. RJ (german shepherd) and Lilly (yorkie) belong to me. Angel (pit/lab) belongs to my mom and Gemma (purebred pit) belongs to my sister. All 4 of the dogs get along great. Angel looks after Lilly while RJ and Gemma play for hours on end.

				   | I have 5 and we are a well oiled machine, ok maybe once in awhile a gear gets knocked off track but we make it work. They all get along great for the most part but just like my skin babies, they have their days. I wouldnt have it any other way. I would like to mention the vet care though. Take into consideration the bills. They are bad here lol. Just for shots cost me an arm and a leg. Good luck

				   | I always thought you would be good at fostering Kendra. Never say never. Is there a limit on Yorkie's? Some one should have informed me of this lol

				   | I only have one yorkie right now, but ever since I discovered 3 pups is the limit per home in my township, I've already picked out names should I get another two and reach my 3 dog limit ![]() Best of luck with the new pup. Let us know how they all get along.

				   | Thank you all for your replies. I didn't realize there were so many with multiple pets. I don't feel so bad now. LOL. I am definitely in a position where I can afford the vet bills and can provide attention to them all. I certainly wouldn't do it if I couldn't. Excited and nervous is what I'm feeling, but it's ok. I can do this. :-) |

				   | I have three and want another but honestly I spend too much on vet bills for any more dogs.
