Oliver is missing!!
 
Please help... Oliver has been missing since 12pm today from Pawleys Island, SC. I was out of town and my dad was taking care of him... he got spooked when my dad whistled and ran. I have handed out flyers, multiple people all over the neighborhood are looking. I have put a posting on craigslist... what else??? Please help me find him!!!!!

Oh no! So sorry to hear this. Too late now, but first thing in the morning, contact all local vets, groomers, shelters, etc. anywhere someone might take a dog.

I would call the local Police Department- they are the first place most people call when a dog is picked up- let them know you are looking for your dog.

Get up very early and drive around the neighborhood- hit all the bus stops and hand out flyers to kids/parents waiting.

I would contact your local animal shelters to see if anyone has turned him in and put flyers in local vets offices too, as dog owners are the ones most likely to pick up a stray dog.

I am so sorry to hear that Oliver is missing. Make sure to go to all the local vets, shelters, pet stores, and even go door to door around the area where he is missing. The more you are out there during the first couple days, the more likely you will be able to find him.

Please keep us updated. I hope he comes home soon!

The posters that are in this link are great. I used them about 1 1/2 yrs ago to help took for a dog that escaped during a transport. I was still hanging signs when the calls first started coming in with sighting. Good luck with your search. Please keep us posted. :(

IM so sorry your litte Oliver is missing. I hope that you get your baby back in your hands soon and I strongly agree with the posters here on what to do to get him back. Is he microchipped? Does he have a collar on? Sending prayers.

I am so sorry. I'm sure you are beside yourself, as I would be. I would also check internet sites. Young ppl use the internet quite a bit in communication: Craigslist, for example, might be a good thing to watch in your area.

Still looking for Oliver. My parents neighborhood couldn't be more supportive. People are still walking around or on their golf carts looking for him. I just know he is scared and it is tearing me up. I feel like a bad mommy... its MY job to take care of him. He always stays here if I am gone. I have put out his blankets in the yard. I am so lost ..... He even has an appointment tomorrow with the vet bc his paws are still bothering him so much. I can't stop crying.

If you cook some bacon and take it out there the odor may draw him back. Also, if you have any t-shirts you've worn you can put those out there, too.

Are you living with your parents or somewhere sorta close by? Is it possible he went to where you live? I hope you find him or he finds you. Still praying for you and him.

I live driving time about 20 min from my parents.... I am staying here tonight. He LOVES their golden retreiver so she is just sitting out here with me looking for Ollie. Guess we are camping out tonight. Prayers Please!!
