This is so heartbreaking. I will pray that he be back in your arms soon and you can smile once again. I feel so bad for you. I hope to see good news when I check back. *HUG*

I am so sorry to hear about your little boy. Did you call any of your neighbors in your neighborhood? Perhaps he is trying to walk home. My Dallas and I will say a prayer that you get your little one back safely asap. Best of luck, stay strong.

Put on your Poster that he needs medication, a lot of people doesn't want a sick dog and put a reward for safe return with no amount.

No news on my Oliver.... just waiting outside ... walking the streets... I just want him in my arms.

So sorry Oliver is missing. I will be praying for his safe return. Also don't ever just call the shelter, you need to go look in person & run a lost add in your local paper as well.

Forgive me, I haven't read the entire thread.... did you check inside the house? Sometimes these little monkeys get back in with no one the wiser... I don't know how they do it... Houdini-like I think.

you've probably already done this... but post signs on every street corner. chances are someone picked him up close to the house and has him inside. sending good thoughts for his safe return.

I don't even want to think about how sick I'd feel if I ever lost one of my dogs for even a few minutes.

Recently I went on a shortish roadtrip & opened the car door at the rest area before leashing my two (had to pee!). Well, out jumps Tuffy & over to the car next to us. There was a man standing there & he sniffed him as I was saying to the man "Please, pick him up, he's very very friendly" Well, this man apparently was NOT an animal lover & told me so in some nasty words. Meanwhile, off goes Tuffy since he saw a big dog about 100 yards away :eek: I'm yelling my head off to the people in the rest area telling them not to chase him. It was insane & honestly the worst scare ever.

The reason I'm telling this story is to remind everyone...we can NEVER be too safe with these little guys!

That is scary! My Sophia LOVES car rides and walks. I took them to a pet boutique nearby and had them both on the leash before we got out of the car. I get out, set them on the ground and Sophia immediately starts walking quickly to the shop. I didn't have a good hold on the leash and somehow it slipped through my hand. She walked right in front of a truck's path. :eek: Luckily the truck was going really slow and saw her. Scared me to death! Have since changed the way we exit the car!

Have to be so careful with these little guys! They have a mind of their own and don't know what's best for themselves!

So glad you found your baby. My heart was just wrenching as I read through this thread. I was hopeing for a happy ending. I couldn't even imagine what you were going through.

Give him great big hugs from us. And tell him to never, ever to do that again!!!!
