| Excited I am so tickled pink at the moment and just had to share with you guys! For the first time in almost 2 years since I brought her home (January 9, 2010), Lilly stayed sitting in my lap and let me snuggle with her for almost 2 hours! For me, this is a HUGE deal and I am so very much on cloud nine XD

| Thanks everyone For those that don't know... She was a puppymill dog. The only human contact she had was when she was fed, when a male was put in with her and when her puppies were taken away from her. Other than that, she lived in a cage all her life... until I rescued her almost 2 years ago. My original intent was to rehab her and find a forever home for her. But as the weeks rolled into months, I fell more and more in love with her. After having her for a year, I made the decision that I was her forever home. After I had first brought her home, I basically left her alone for 2 weeks to let her adjust. After that is when I began trying to get her used to being touched, handled, groomed, and held. The being held and snuggling has been the thing that has taken the longest to get her used to. That's why I was so excited earlier when she actually snuggled in my lap for 2 hours without her getting up and running to the open door of her kennel. Right now she is snuggled up on a flannel blanket next to me sitting on my bed. I love this little girl so very much and would do anything for her that I could. She has many clothes, and several more clothing items on the way. For Christmas, I've gotten her a set of 3 cute pink fuzzy blankets. She's slowly getting used to her topknot being up in a band, which I'm very glad of cause I have some really cute bows coming for her but won't use them until she's totally used to her hair being up in a band. She's so cute with her fur pulled up XD Anyway, so sorry for rambling. I love talking about Lilly if you couldn't tell XD

| It takes time for a rescue to trust. After all, they've never had anyone they could trust before and she has probably never bonded with anyone in the past. I'm very happy for you. She's a sweetie.

| Thank you all so very much. Lilly is very special to me, obviously, and I love talking about her, and the progress she has made since I brought her into my home. I still can't believe that it's been almost 2 years since she came into my life.

| Thank you for saving Lily and showing her love! She is lucky to have someone now who has shown her how a dog is supposed to be treated and giving her a new life.
