| Petplan Insurance Hello everybody! Chiquita will be 4 months old this Saturday. She's up to 3 lbs now, has had all her shots, and the vet has given her a clean bill of health. We are now looking at insurance, and think Petplan suits us. Problem is, trying to chose the level of coverage. Bronze pays up to $8,000 per year, and we think that seems to be sufficient. However, for a few dollars more we could get $12,000, or even $20,000 worth of coverage. Which seems to be a bit excessive. She is our first yorkie, and would like some opinions or things to consider in making our decision. Thank you for all your input. We really enjoy reading this forum! |

| I have the gold plan on all three of mine...I weighed the positives and negatives, and the gold also has the pet replacement clause, lost fund, and vacation cancellation....I can tell you that I was very impressed with Petplan as we recently had to file our first claim...We had our refund check back in 10 days...

| I just signed up yesterday with PetPlan - we did the bronze with a $100 deductible and 100% coverage. It gives me peace of mind knowing our baby is covered should anything happen to her!!

My furkids Donating Member | I had VPI for my girls. They dropped some of what was originally covered when I first got the plan and the cost went up. I do want to purchase pet insurance again as we are going to be adding another furbaby to our family (YAY!) anyway...I went to the petplan site and can't seem to find a list of what is covered. And for those who do have petplan does the monthly charge go up as they get older? Thank you
