![]() Hello everyone. I am new mom of Truffle and it's been long time to have 4 legs baby ![]() Truffle is the baby of my husband and I. Yes, she is in sling comes most of places with us. we just went H&Block other day and sit and quiet for 45 minutes on my lap. I was trying to negotiate with the tax guy to claim my baby! lol Sling with my jacket helps a lot and not many people notice her unless she pop and moves her head a lot, fast food resultants, Starbucks, quick grocery shopping, target and a lots of doggy boutiques in town. always ask her if she is ready for " shopping" then she wiggle her little nub. ![]()

![]() I like to take him with me as much as possible. There are some places I can't for work or the gym but I will just leave him in his crate with windows down and sunroof open halfway. I live in la and there are some frog friendly restaurants and even bars where I can take him and he's accepted by almost everyone. Its nice to enter a cafe where u see dogs openly on leash sitting under tables etc. There's a bar in Venice beach called The Other Room where people will have dogs in carriers or on leash and it's a great place to meet people too. I admit I've even snuck him into the movies. I guess the only place I wont take him is restaurants that have no dog policies.

![]() I have 2 dogs so they can keep each other company. My new puppy gets carsick so she does not want to go anywhere. Cesar goes to the bank, groomer, etc. He is shy and does not care to be around strangers. I have a large custom area built just for animals so they are happy to stay at home. I don't work so we have a lot of time together. I don't want them to feel so needy and clingy like those kids who hold on to their mom's leg in the stores and cry and scream. Some dogs do better in the car than others. The vet said Cleo should outgrow her carsickness but I got some tablets for her at Petsmart for motion sickness.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We never allow the babies to be on the floor...even at the pet stores...where they can eat anything or get ick (cleaning solvents, etc.) on their feet they might lick off, or things jabbed into their little paws. We take them to quite a few places, and are compiling our own little list of places they can go...besides pet stores, I mean. Of course, we also take them any time it's a car ride...like the P.O., or drive thru's or take out food. Most of the time, even if they cannot go in, one of us just stays with them, unless it's a short time in the store and we have additional places to go. Searching online for dog friendly places gets almost nothing but dog parks and drive-thru fast-food restaurants, like Sonic Drive-In...so that's no help...and while there will be 3 'hits' usually 2 of the 'hits' with be duplicate entries. ![]() I understand not taking animals into places where food is served or sold, but my babies are cleaner and neater than a lot of the human patrons, and while I understand the need for service animals, if service animals are allowed, it seems odd to disallow other animals, especially the carry-on kind. Or maybe that's just me... ![]()

| ![]() I take Zeus pretty much everywhere too (grocery stores and most restaurants w/o patios are the exception) but I'm really fortunate that I live in very dog-friendly areas. He went to the bookstore for the first time a couple of days ago and he was quiet the whole time. At first he HATED!! his bag (and my purse, lol) but he's starting to realize he gets to go places once he's inside. ![]() I also don't allow him to touch the ground. I don't wear shoes in the house because I don't know what's on the grounds I walk on. I read a report once that did a study on the bottom of shoes and the results were astonishing dangerous. I don't want my babies licking any of that up...

![]() Bailey loves to go in the car. He goes to the bank because he gets treats. He rides with me if I don't have to visit clients, but am just dropping off stuff real quick. He did awesome on our trip down to Birmingham. After the 1st hour he just slept.
