How do I stop her from constantly begging to play??

Playmate for sure!! Although Bevo was an only furkid for 2 years and sometimes he just wants to play with me and me alone without Mack running after his toy during fetch time!!! I make sure I especially give Bevo extra one on one time with me...So he feels just as special as he did before the other 2 came around! But, when Im all played out, I usually just tell him "no more"...and he knows to go play alone, or with Mack...

Thanks for the great advice so far. I think if I can teach the 'Enough' & 'Play' commands that will help tremendously. That will be cheaper than a playmate. Though I would like to look into that, now is not the right time. I also plan on setting this timer. She's really terrible about it & it can actually be embarrassing if we go some where, she'll do the same to the other people. Sometimes she'll even straddle my arm, being very dominate, as she tries to 'force' me to take the toy. As I said, I get frustrated which can lead to a negative response from me (like saying NO!) & she doesn't deserve that for never being taught differently.

So...I'll let you know how it goes & any other ideas are more than welcome.

Sometimes I have to tell Kacee to "go to bed" and she will look so sad and go slinking down the hall. It doesn't happen very often. She just loves the company, I guess.

I have three and my yorkie is still a pest!! She's young and full of energy, she wears the poodles out. She needs stuff to do. I rotate her toys - take them away and give her one at a time during the day so that she misses them. She chews nylabone stuff and plays wrestling with her big stuffed thing. They get bored. Set a time - spend half-an-hour with her, get her to do a lot of running and/or jumping. Then let her entertain herself for a set amount of time - and gradually lengthen that time. It's only a lot of work the first year or so!! Ha ha ha!!!
