| Is he mad at me!? Ok, this is kind of silly, but then again it is bothering me too! Lucky does so so well with going to the bathroom outside. He can hold it all night long, for 8-9 hrs and he never has accidents in the house during the day or at night while we sleep. He doesn't have a crate, he has free roam of the apartment because he has proved to do well with potty time and he doesn't bite or chew either. Well, every single time I go out he pees!!! I can be gone for as little as 5 minutes, and he will pee! I usually do not leave him for more than a few hrs at a time. But if he can hold his pee all night, then why cant he hold it the few hours while I am out!? Today, I went out to eat with my friends. My friend came to pick me up, but I forgot something in my house, so I ran back in. I wasn't gone for more than 3-4 minutes, and when I came back in to grab my phone, HE PEED! Ohhh! My nana told me it is cuz he is mad because I am leaving him alone. Could this be true!? And how do I stop this!? If it is true, then it is kind of funny because who knew a little dog could get angry! Ha!

| I'm laughing with you. They will definitely get ticked off. My 3 year old Shih Tzu Maltese actually stared me down with a grown woman's stink eye when I first brought Choppa home and he would jump all over her. She would just sit and stare at me like "I know you DIDN'T subject me to this little 'bad word' and when is he going home!! Lol. They do get an attitude some times.

| I think it is more like. I don't want you to go Mommy, pee pee, see this is where we belong. I think a belly band would be fine when you leave. it won't hurt him and it will save your floors and furniture. Our own Cathy could make you the perfect one. See her stuff on Teddy Bumpkins

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | New to the world of Yorkies, but could it be that anxiety pee? I read a lot where some will get so excited they will pee without realizing it. I thought we were so lucky because Katie Scarlett hadn't done this since we got her. But it started 2 days ago. The first was when we woke up. She sleeps in our room in the corner where her pad/big girl bed/xpen are set up. I walk out of the room to go pee myself and bam, she pees on her bed, which she has NEVER done! I could hear her getting excited when I was in the restroom, but thought nothing of it. I had to wash her bed, but cleaned her up and let it be. Then yesterday when we were at puppy class, she did it again. We had pottied right before we went in and I was for sure she was fine. Then we did an exercise where every owner goes to the right for 1 minute and handles the next dog in line. It is supposed to help you get used to being with other dogs besides your own and it is to give your dog time to socialize with other people. While we are with the other dogs, we were supposed to get them to do basic commands like sit, look, and down. Although she did great with every single person in the room, she did pee a little when the first person was with her. I think she was just so excited (she LOVES people) she peed a little. I am hoping it's only a temporary thing. She isn't left alone much at all since I am a stay at home wife at the present. If it does, we may have to do those little diapers. So I was thinking you could try those belly bands for the boys like another suggested. I don't think he is mad at you, even though I too believe they can get naughty when they don't get their way. LOL. I think he's just so excited and wonder where his Mommy has gone he does it without realizing it. But again, I'm a newbie to the world of yorkies, so not sure. I hope I helped some though!
