| Long hair on ears Just curious how many let the hair on the tips of the ears grow long and hang down, and how many keep it clipped, and why. I'm thinking about letting Tinker's grow out long, but wondered if this was a common practice or do most people keep the ear tips clipped short.

| I am letting Ziva's grow, She doesn't have much hair on the top of her head for a bow but the hair on her ears is pretty. It is growing in very thick, her ears droop a little with all that weight! |

| Lately I've let Capones ears grow long. He has large floppy ears anyway. I love Capones coloring and the tip of his ears are the only black really left on them so I don't want the groomer to cut it off. Just personal preference I guess.

| I prefer Jackson's tipped. But sometimes they are cute when they get a bit longer too! I just prefer the more neat-and-trimmed look most of the time. But sometimes he gets a bit shaggy.

| I usually let Levi grow a nice little fringe around the ears. The last time he went for a haircut, the groomer tipped his ears. It was cute, but I definitely prefer a little fringe on my little guy. We don't let it get too long, though. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Well we've only had Katie Scarlett for a little over a month and so far we like the ears trimmed. I just love how it accentuates her little points. But I think both ways are cute!

| I tip the top 1/3, and let the rest grow. It's what I've always done... but I also like how it adds to the shape of their faces.

YT Addict | Jenna had gotten so floofy by last spring I'd had to cut her fur to about an inch or so all over except for her ears & tail. She'd had these lovely long wisps coming off her ears (she's kind of a combo coat) and just a few weeks ago one side got stuck in her head sock and the wisp balled up and came off. She looks lopsided now but I don't have the heart to trim her up and lose what's left of her ear tips. Ehn...we're not worried much about symmetry.

| I let Gracie's ear hair grow long it suits her face. With Ginny Joy, I trim top 1/3. Her ears start to doop if I don't keep the hair shaved. Rubin I leave a nice 1/4 inch of fringe. Abba's is long right now, but he looks cuter with the ears tipped next trim I will shave them on the tips.
