It really sounds like an allergy the way you described her getting sick like that. First make sure she is drinking lots of water. If she isn't, put some water in a syringe and force feed it to her. She will get dehydrated quickly from throwing up since she is so little. Second, you can give her some benadryl, but you need to know her exact weight. Get the childrens diphenhydramine liquid it is 12.5mg / 5ml and find a small syringe (at any pharmacy) that measures to 0.1ml. You can give her 0.1ml per every pound of weight she is. For example a 3.3 lb yorkie would give them 0.3ml of benadryl. You can give it to her twice a day. If the first dose gets her to stop feeling yucky and throwing up then you have discovered an allergy. Giving her the benadryl won't hurt her if she doesnt have an allergy though either so don't be scared to give it to her. If its not an allergy it won't do anything for her. Then you can take her to the vet when they open and try an figure something else out if that didnt work. But please make sure she gets fluids aka water in her system! Good luck! I found a vet on call and Lilly is fine he did not know what it was but gave her pain meds and some fluid and she was fin after that

I am never going too give her sea food of any kind after this Lilly scared me good tho

i'm wondering if any of u have had your yorkie tested for allergy's and how much it cost ?

Lilly has a vet appointment in 3 weeks and i´m thinking if it´s a good idea
to have her tested

Just to give you a "heads up" about allergy testing-if it is a food allergy, the only reliable test is by elimination. You need to start out with one "novel" protein, which you know she has never eaten before( like venison, for example, or rabbit) and one carb (like rice, or oatmeal). Your vet should be able to explain it to you.Also, to let you know-this is a long process that last for about 12 weeks. You can't give your baby ANYTHING to snack on other than her food, no flavored meds, chewies, anything like that. Blood tests don't really reveal anything as reliable as elimination diets, and it can be expensive. Best of luck to you and your baby!
