| My 2 yorkies some advice Hi All, I have posted before about my senior yorky myles 14 yrs and my pup rudy who is 11mths old being together. I have been letting rudy in the whole house here and there but now myles when he gets up and notices rudy is around he goes after him it is non stop like goes to bite him i know he cant hurt the pup b/c his teeth are soo bad but he wont stop he just stares and barks at him sometimes rudy ignores him and sometimes rudy barks back but today he seemed to get scared by myles coming toward him. Will this get better? How should I make myles stop barking at the pup? He is the man in the house after all he rules the house prior to this pup so i know this is why he is doing this. I just thought he would calm down and eventually they would become friends. At first rudy was bothering him now the tables turned and myles doesnt leave rudy alone Any advice? I appreciate it Denise |

| How long have you had the pup. It cab take a while sometimes months for an adult dog to accept a pup so most likely you just need time

| hi i have rudy 8 mths now but he was always separate from myles he was crated at first until fully trained now he is gated in my living room area where he sleeps eats etc hangs out w/ us. So Rudy and Myles have always been separated it was best at first until the pup was trained and for feeding reasons etc. I pray it works out soon Thats why I try a little each day so myles can get adjusted to the pup Thanks Denise |
