| So many Yorkies!!!! I just spent some time going through posts looking at some of the pictures of Yorkies. They are all so cute and darling - and they are all Yorkies, but I don't know any other breed of dog that has so many different looks. Ears - huge ears, small ears, erect ears, floppy ears, one ear up - one ear down. Colors - so many different shades of different beautiful colors. Haircuts - Every imaginable haircut in the world. They don't even look like the same breed - and they are all beautiful and darling no matter what you do with them. Sizes - What other breed has such a variance in size? I've seen from 2 pounds to 18 pounds. One is 9 times larger than the other - and they are both purebred Yorkies. And - can you only imagine all the possible combinations of all the above traits?? No wonder people like Yorkies. No two of us have the same dog. It beats having a black lab (they are all the same). Carol Jean |

| Yorkies Very true! That is why breeders need to be able to recite the standard before breeding a litter! LOL Nothing wrong for a Yorkie not to look like a Yorkie, but the prices some people pay is outrageous..and unfair. |

| GREAT post Carol Ann You are so right! But you are missing one thing - all the owners are exactly the same - we love our dogs dearly

| I laughed at your post because when I tell people I have 9 Yorkies and one wanna be they always ask me how can I tell them apart. Mine are all night and day just like people. Different colors, different heights, weights, male, female...I have my own United Nations...

| Thanks for your replies. Yes - the owners all love them......and spoil them. Just have to spoil a Yorkie! And all the Yorkies have awsome fun-loving personalities in common. Carol Jean |
