| The cat I have right now ( Baby ) had a brother named Smokey. Smokey got put down because he was an outside cat ( as much as I tried for him not to be ) and he got into something bad. The vet knew me and both cats and asked me if I had let Baby say her goodbyes which I did. He was laying under the Christmas tree and I brought Baby up to him so she could say goodbye and I swear she knew what was going on. It was a sad day for all of us

| Cooper (my yorkie) seems to be doing okay. The only time he seems sad/confused is when I get home from work. The old routine would consist of me coming home, greeting Cooper in the laundry room and letting Austin (my JRT) out of the garage. Then I would send them both outside. Cooper seems weirded out by the fact that I am not going to the garage to let Austin out. Other than that he seems fine. He is eating and playing. Thanks for all of your stories and advice!
