I feel so guilty! I'm in Maui taking a much needed vacation. My first vacation since my Mocha came into my life 1.5 years ago. I left him with my mom since he loves grandma and had spent the night with her before. Well, he was great the first day, thinking it's the usual play day at grandma's. However, he started eating less and less. It's now the fourth day and he's eating about half his normal portion. He often refuse to eat if I get home late and asked others to go feed him. He would insist on waiting for me and gobble the food down after I get home. Grandma already took him to the vet but vet said everything looks good. I feel so guilty and worried. I can't seem to take my mind off of my baby and can't enjoy this beautiful place. I know I should stop this but just can't.

Tell grandma to get some boiled chic and feed it to him. When Mina wont eat her kibble we sprinkle a very tiny amount of parmasean cheese on it. Sometimes this trick works and sometimes it doesn't. Hope you are able to enjoy your last few days of vaca. Babys do make us worry dont they.

Relax and enjoy your vacation. I once dog sat for my friend's yorkie and he was the same way. He would not eat. But by the third day, I guess he was starting to feel the hunger pains and he did eventually eat. A little bit a first and gradually he started to eat more each day.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. I will try to take my minds off of my baby and enjoy the rest of my vacation. I went snorkeling today and I swore one of the fish has the same coloring as my Mocha (ok, ok, I know I'm crazy...I least I didn't say the fish looks like my Mocha). I saw an ad for a pet boutique in Maui and already plugged that address into the GPS. Guess where I will go before I leave here? Time for some old fashioned bribery

| When my husband and I got married, we took Gizmo to a doggy daycare the day of so we could come home to erm, just each other on our wedding night... Anywho!!! (this is PG I swear) The whole night and early into the morning, we kept saying "Oh I can't wait to get Gizmo, I miss him so much! It's not the same!" And when we picked him up, the little brat didn't want to leave his buddies at the daycare! So no worries, Momma. He's getting spoiled at Grandmas, and I know he's going to be even more spoiled when you return home with home goodies!
