| She's SO smart! Well to save confusion we have decided to stick with outside potty only! We have hung the bell on the door knob (and had to sew extra on it to make it long enough for her to reach it). I do have a couple pee pads down in the house but she has only used them once or twice. It has been 6 days since we brought Violet home. ALL day today she has been running over to her bell, swating it with her paw, then sitting nicely at the door untill I get there to let her out. She quickly runs to "her spot" in the yard and goes potty, then back to the door waiting for us to go back inside to get treats She has had a couple poo accidents in the house today, but only when I was gone to the Dr.... DH must not have been paying attention to her ringing the bell! I can not get over how quickly she is catching on! Its almost like a light bulb went off in her head today! Now if only I can get her to learn the down and stay command

| She sure does sound like a little smarty pants. That's awesome that she has caught onto the bell so fast.

| Thanks guys DH said I deserve some of the credit because I have been dilligent about taking her out, keeping her on schedule.....at times I can be even anal about it! lol But I take no credit! Violet is super smart and will do anything for a treat Yorkies can be a pain in the rear to potty train, but this girl has the brains of a collie! It took no coaxing to get her used to clothes or bows, and she has learned sit, down, and sit pretty within the first couple attempts! She really is a bright little girl!
