| Update on Pixie Hi all OMG i havent been on here in so long. My mom hasnt been bringing her laptop home recently so..... but i've been reading all the posts from my phone (but i just cant seem to logon from it) Anyway, I dont know if you all remember me posting about my friend's yorkie Pixie who was sick and her vet couldnt figure out what was wrong. Well i eventually pushed her into bringing her baby to my vet (who i trust). They ran every test, kept him over night and found out he has LIVER SHUNT. I was sooooo sad coz i got her Pixie and didnt want her to go through that. And also because Ziggy and Pixie have the same Grandfather, so I was terrified that Ziggy would have it too. (Ok so they are the same age and ate the same food so my vet believes Ziggy most probably doesnt have it.. but im planning to have him tested when he gets his baby teeth pulled) I am soo DISAPPOINTED in my breeder for the way she handled this situation! but thats a different story.. Anyway i know this is getting long, but i just wanted to list a few symptoms and maybe save someone from waiting so long to find this out 1. At 10 weeks old Pixie was really wobbly on his feet, they thought it was neuro/ear problems 2. When we got them, Pixie was more than double Ziggy's size and now is only about a pound or so and an inch bigger than Ziggy (Ziggy has put on weight every week and is now about 7inches tall and has developed very well) I really cant say the same about Pixie 3. When we switched them to RC Yorkie 29 (from RC small breed puppy food) Ziggy carried on as normal, but Pixie reacted violently and his more serious symptoms began 4. He would throw up almost daily 5. Would walk around her (my friend) house along the walls as if not knowing where he was 6. He would have ALOT of saliva and would have times where he looked as though he was blind 7. The seizures were really the last thing, then i forced he to see my vet I hope that One person sees this and can have their baby looked at from a young age and not have to experience these symptoms. Please pray for Pixie (they are managing it with meds right now but he needs surgey).. And also for Ziggy- that he is as healthy as i believe he is.. Thanks for listening

| Oh no! So sorry to hear about Pixie!!! Him and Ziggy will be in my prayers! And your friend and you as well! I cant imagine what you all are dealing with! Bless your heart for trusting your gut and forcing your friend to get a second opinion! I know all to well what second opinions are worth!
