| ![]() i have a pee tray which is filled with pallet compress pine dust instead of newspaper. she somehow like to paw the tray out and bite the pallets, no idea why. . . and it leave a mess all around her playpen area. another is she kept taking used tissue from the room trash bin and bite it into little pieces all over the floor. lucky she doesnt pull the whole bin down, only the tissue. but she like to do this when i go for a shower. but for both of this actions, she know that she's in the wrong and went to hide everytime i get back into the room or woke up to see it. i always give her all her toys before i go out and even add in the chewing bone too. it help lessen the action sometimes but she still doing it. i wonder there got to be something up with her. caz she doesnt bite furniture and all. is there anyway i can stop this? |

| ![]() I would suggest crating her or putting her in a play pen when you are sleeping or not around so she cant get into anything that could hurt her. Callie loved tissues we had to buy trash cans with lids that you have to step on to open and that we still use because it keeps her safe from anything she shouldn't be getting into. She still occasionally will rip up a tissue or paper towel if she finds it on the floor but if I see her I tell her no and to leave it and she does. Teaching them leave it can be a great thing because if they get something they shouldn't and they know the command leave it they will most of the time ![]()

| ![]() Princess still shreds tissue every chance she gets. My garbage in my bedroom is on the back of my desk & the bathroom one is on the back of the toilet. That was the only solution I could find is just trying to limit her access. She knows it's wrong as she'll stare me down until I say something/notice then she'll get ready to run. She never gets in big trouble, just a 'lecture' & I throw her a toy. I don't have any advice for the pellets, Princess uses pads & they're held down by a holder.

| ![]() I would be very concerned about the pup ingesting the pine material, and I would switch to another, safer product. Max liked to shred his piddle pads when he was a pup...especially when I was in the shower. ![]()

| ![]() How old is your little one? As lovetodream mentioned, it sounds like typical puppy behavior. What yorkie pup can resist shredding tissue? As far as the pee tray chewing is concerned, she may like the taste/smell of the pine, but I would be very concerned about her ingesting the pallet compress material. |

| ![]() Check out this thread, it's the system I use, it may help prevent the chewing on the pellets cause that can't be good for her. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...while-ago.html
