| Finally a breakthrogh for my picky boy I have finally found something that has been working for my picky 4 month old Yorkie!! I posted a little while ago for some tips and what you were feeding. i read about all the other moms who won the battle of the food, so i knew i could find something! I had tried 5 different kibbles with the same results. Likes them at first and then sticks his nose up (he didn't like any of the softs i tried at all). i had succumed to putting some chicken breast or parm on top, but i know i was making for a picky boy, so i wanted to put a stop to the human food on top. (and he wasn't even eating great when i was doing that) What i found that is working great for my boy is to rotate the 3 high quality kibbles that i still have for his 3 meals (of 1/4c). i then take about a tsp of water and mix it in the kibbles. i then zap it in the mirco for about 10 seconds and BOOM! he loves! it's been since Sunday that this has been working. He's licking his bowl clean each time, and i'm not giving any more people food for enticement! He does still get a baby carrot or two for snacks between, but from what i have read thats a common healthy snack! I hope my posting can help someone else just as you guys helped me!!! |
