| Congratulations on your babies!! So sorry the little girl didn't make it ... I am totally clueless and "know nothing 'bout birthin' no babies", but from what I read, it's a monumental task! Hope they will all check out great & that things will be a lot easier from here on out! Good job, Mom!!

| Let me say welcome fellow Missourian to YT and Congrats on the pups. I feel for you and I understand what you are going through..I had my first litter back in Feb. of this year.. She had 4 pup (3 were still born) and (1 I took to the vet to get checked out.. he tube fed him and killed him) The female was spayed...I was so upset, I swore I wasn't going to do it again. But a good breeder friend of mine told me. You had a bad time but it should get easier from here. You are going to lose some along the way from time to time. That is just the way it is. I should have listened to to the breeders here, when my female started to have trouble. Vets sometimes are not as up on the pregnancy part of dogs as they are in other areas. I now have changed Vets. I just love this breed so much and I will try to breed again when my other girls are old enough. I have learned so much from this forum and the breeders here. Good luck to you and keep you headup....Sherry |

I Love Thor Donating Member | If you don't mind me asking how did you lose her. Was there a specific cause? I am sorry about your loss. I am glad that there are at least a couple healthy ones left! |
