| Need costume alteration help.. who else buys from build a bear... Hi Everyone, So I just bought Harley the hockey out fit from build a bear. The jersey fits nearly perfect, but he's too long for the pants and the helmet is huge. I'm going to insert velcro on the jersey to tighten it up a bit so he can walk properly (I'm putting the logo on his back) But he's longer than the yorkie toy at build a bear, and the pants don't fit. Has anyone altered pants from build a bear to successfully fit their yorkie? I'm thinking of cutting the crotch and tail area out and then putting velcro on the legs so that it makes a tighter fit and comes up further, but I'm scared to start cutting in case I screw up. I also think I'm going to attach a button in the jersey to connect the pants so they don't fall off. As for the helmet here are the options.... stuff the helmet full of fabric/kleenex and just set it on his head, and he can be a bobble head kind of hockey dog, or make a new helmet designed to fit him. Got a contest at the local pet boutique next week, and I'm scrambling. lol

| I got the hockey outfit for Bubba when he was a puppy. I dug out the pictures and looked. The jersey fit just fine and I had the same problem with the pants. The helmet just smashed down on his head. Maybe you could get a pair of black baby tights and use them as pants and maybe the fingers of black gloves as skates. Don't forget to take pictures and post them.

| Will post when I get it figured out... If I can't get the pants and helmet, I have an idea that uses the Jersey, and may be a better option for him seeing he's been sick. I don't want to agitate him.
