wow, I thought I'd heard it all.....but Puppy Parties for children! OK, if you are like a GOOD Golden Retriever breeder and you want your pups socialized with children, then MAYBE it's OK, but not like that!!!! good lord, Yorkies are fragile anyway!!!! A kid could break one in half in seconds!

sadly, I am not surprised. people who are able to buy puppies from puppy mills in a such young age, do not care about them. have you heard how many puppies die when they are shipped in age even 6 weeks?

i do know...it is even illegal, but faked papers do exist. nobody cares about poor puppies... fragile? of course they are fragil, but pet store owners think only about the money...

I have never heard such a thing as to Rent a Puppy are you kidding me? That is just like going to an adoption agency for human babies and taking it home for a couple of weeks to see if you like the baby and then taking it back that is so cruel those poor puppies are probably sooo confused.

Rent a puppy? Puppy parties? I learn so much in one day at this site. Makes me hate pet stores even more. I am completely against them no matter where they claim to get their pets from. The paperwork can be fake, they can have you call their cousin for all you know. No good breeder would sell their dog to a petstore. A good breeder would want to interview the prospective owners. I would personally want to KNOW FOR A FACT I didn't get a puppymill dog and go to a local breeder. All of the petstores say they don't get dogs from puppymills, but I notice all of the signs on the cages here in California say Missouri on it. Why would they ship little puppies all the way from there if they're from private breeders?

ALLlovesLULU: go on the for sale thread and post exactly what you're looking for. You can even do it here. I know people here are willing to help you find a GREAT breeder, and I'm sure even save you some money and possibly heartache.

Do a search and read all the responses from people local to Brooklyn and the NYC area that have been there and can give you first hand accounts. Listen to what the majority is telling you here and look at your other options. Please!!

Not bashing, just my opinion!

Good luck on finding the perfect baby for you!
