Mojo wasn’t feeling well this morning.

Mojo is just fine this morning. I feel like I didn't sleep at all last night! I am an extremely light sleeper. Last night, I had Mojo and all 4 of my cats in bed with me. Needless to say, I was up every couple of hours. You know how your pets will just pile on top of each other when they sleep? Well, they wanted to do that with me. I have this big queen sized bed and they barely gave me a sliver to sleep on. LOL

Mojo enjoyed a half cup of the chicken and rice mixture for his breakfast this morning, which he tolerated just fine. No more loose stool or vomiting and he has been very playful. Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers!

Well, he vomited again this afternoon, so we took him to see the vet. He's still acting normally, thank God. The vet prescribed Metronidazole for infection and instructed us to keep him on the rice mixture for a few more days. If he continues to vomit, I have to bring him back for blood work.

The vet also noted that both Mojo's back knees were slipping. This doesn't seem to bother Mojo now, but the vet indicated he may need surgery when he gets older (he'll only be a year at the end of this month) and that it's something we must keep an eye on. I feel so bad for my poor baby!

The meds should help him fight off whatever is causing that. I wouldn't worry too much about his knees just yet. He's still a puppy and time will tell on that.
