| Boy question My moms yorkie Sammy has had some discharge from his boy part and well he had it before and we took him to the vet and she checked it out and said there was in infection and my mom had a cleaner she has to clean his boy part with everyday and an oral antibiotic. Well it happened again a few months later but when we took him in to the vet she checked it out and didnt see any infection and just to keep an eye on it. Well Sammy is spending the night at my house tonight because my parents had to go out of town for the night and I noticed he has some more discharge in his hair at the tip of his boy part. Well I have a girl so I pretty much know nothing about boys and was wondering if its normal for boys to have discharge? What its supposed to look like? If its not normal what could be causing it? And any thing else I need to know. Thank you in advance.

| I would get it checked out, but I also think it could be he's dirty down there. Thy get a little crusty if they aren't cleaned and have lots of hair (pee string)

| Im thinking he is going to have to have it checked out at the vet again. He is acting ok so I dont think its an emergency and we can wait to go to our vet. Hes a little sad right now missing his mommy but he is eating, drinking, chewing on bones and acting mostly normal. I just wonder if food can cause it, I dont like the food my moms dogs are on and she is open to change it but she cant have the dry food as hard as the wellness core that Callie eats (one of her old beagles has semi bad teeth) so I'm not sure which brand to suggest to her they are on Beneful.

| I think I am going to suggest my mom buy a thing of baby wipes to use on his boy part every night. She has had a boy dog before but he has no hair down there on the tip so this is a first with any hair on the tip so I think it could be that one of the things is its getting a little dirty.

| I would take him in too! The baby wipes are a great idea!! I try to keep Pnuts area "hair" short, its hard seems like it grows fast lol ugh esp when his tummy hair gets long then it smells like pee!! I use baby wipes to take my make up off so I will use them on him too!
