| Rabies shot! Geno went to the vet yesterday and got his first rabies shot. They gave him the smallest needle they had but little baby still wailed soooo loud. It makes mommy want to cry. Anyone else like that? Whenever I hear my baby scared or in pain, I just want to cry. I'm such a sap. My boyfriend is like calm down he's ok, but still. I'm very sensitive towards him haha Bad news though. He was diagnosed with an ear infection in his left ear only I feel bad cause it was probably our faults. We give him baths and don't realize water is getting in his ear. Vet told us to put a cotton ball in his ears so it doesn't happen again. Anyone else have any other suggestions as well? They gave us an antibiotic for it so looking forward to him feeling better

| I think all of us hate shots for our babies Jada and Bogie both had infections in their ears last year. My vet recommended a ear cleaner with a drying agent. I used it all last year after baths and when they went in for their yearly checkup, vet said he had never seen such pristine ears. I would put a call in to my vet and ask his recommendation about ear drops. They really helped my two. I think the brand I use is Epi-Otic.

| Sasha has always done very well when she gets her shots, even as a puppy she never made a peep which surprised me. I'm a sucker when she yelps, makes me want to cry to because she's my baby and I hate seeing her in any kind of pain. I've heard that plain yogurt is supposed to help with ear infections. I'm not 100% sure how true this is but I've definitely heard people talk about this more than one time. |

| The probiotics in yogurt are great for all yeast related problems in dogs (and people). My big dog always had inflamed/ infected ears until I started her on probiotics! |

| I don't enjoy watching Levi get shots at all, but he handles it like a champ. I just don't like seeing my little baby look uncomfortable. Hope Geno's little ear clears up soon!

| Thanks everyone for your input! Talked to boyfriend today since he's off from work and he said Geno didn't like getting his antibiotic in his ear today. Poor baby! The vet actually did suggest some ear drops that had aloe in it so we'll probably go out and buy some of that. Didn't know about the yogurt! I'll text my boyfriend and tell him to pick up some
