| Do any of you have/use a Dog Whistle? Good morning! Just a quick question please? Harry was fast asleep and I was watching an antiques programme on tv . Somebody decided to buy a dog whistle, and tried it out. Well, I have never seen such an instant reaction from my boy. He was awake and up and ready to go, it was quite unbelievable. I've never used one for any of my dogs, never thought about it really! So it got me wondering....do any of you use them? Sally + Harry x |

| YES!!! We learned to use one in our puppy training class. And it works wonders. I use it to get her to come to me if she won't come via calling her. I always have a treat in hand to reward her. I love the whistle!!! |

| Wow, thank you! It's funny, I had a really bad cold the other week and kind of lost my voice. Took Harry to the woods and usually I just call his name and he's there, but all that would come out of my mouth was a ridiculous squeaky, croaky sound - like a horn!! Why didn't I think about this then?! Sally + Harry x |

| We used them when training wild hog hunting dogs. Sometimes we could not see where they were, to go to them. The whistle brought them back to us. My son also trained his Aussie Shep. with hand signals and whistles.

| We are trying that, too. I've been blowing it, and giving treats, just to get him to associate the whistle with something good. I hope he learns to come running when he hears it.
