| Yeah I don't think I actually said how I found her... I explained a li'l on my other thread about Royal Canin YT. I found her on Kijiji! You don't find a dog like her on there very often, usually it's just BYB Micro Teacup XXS yorkie puppies :/ [not that those dogs don't make great pets too... but we all know NOT to support mills and byb rrrright!?]... her pictures kinda got me first, then when I met her I was hooked! Here's her ad, i'm pretty sure they don't use kijiji for much, so this ad will probably be up forever haha! I was one of three or four people that they offered a meet and greet to. That's pretty much the jist of the story... happily ever after :P I guess the guy on here.. "carl" or "carly" recognized the sire's name... champion bloodlines through the CKC. Not that it matters to me, because I don't show and Maci isn't a standard yorkie haha! Yorkshire Terrier - Grande Prairie Dogs & Puppies For Sale - Kijiji Grande Prairie Canada. | thanks guys! i also posted in the coat type thread/sticky... can any of you say what kind of coat she might have if this is what she looks like right out of a bath lol! i thought she was silky... but maybe she's cotton? her body/face go straight once she's dry. her legs/tail will stay somewhat wavy. her hair does grow out floor length, no stunted growth anywhere as far as hair goes. Pic 1- after her bath. Pic 2- dry, but curly/wavy leg hair Pic 3- longer coat [not sure how old she is in this pic] |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Tough for me to tell on the coat. Her face looks kinda silky but body looks more like what you'd see on a cottony coat. Plus my silky coated one looks absolutely drenched after a bath, and Maci doesn't. What a fantastic deal, though. And at 2 years, you know what you're getting so it's a great age to adopt! Hopefully they did a good job housetraining.

| Ya know I think that's what she has... a silky head with a cotton body! That's exactly what I was thinking because her not of her hair on her head curls up, and it's much more fine/thin to the touch. But her body is "soft" and thick. I LOVE petting her because she feels like a microfiber plushie toy hahaha, I think she's sick of that though. Also I noticed she mats pretty easily... not horribly but her tummy gets pretty knotted so I have to brush it twice a day. And excellent housetraining! She uses pee pads, which is nice since winters are brutal here. Although she will go outside if you take her, she prefers the pee pads especially for peeing haha.
