That guy is definitely a jerk. To him I say "good luck finding someone to deal with your selfish and uninformed attitude about animals." Good riddance to him, he didn't deserve you.

I also have a husband who is crazy about his little yorkies. We were at the beach one day in early Spring a few years ago, and he was worried that little Tina was getting too cold, so he put her inside his sweatshirt. See below. Tina passed away last winter, and this is still my favorite picture of her. She looks so content.

JERK! In more ways than one! First of all, he doesn't like dogs, second of all......he didn't need to speak to you the way he did and be rude and hang up!!

That is a beautiful picture. I hope you have it in an 8x10!!

Package Deal! (Me, my kid, my dog and all the rest of my baggage) Don't like it or love it you can shove it!

I think I would've said other things besides Jerk. Dating isn't easy and I hope and know you'll find someone who deserves you and your little Peanut!

Consider yourself lucky to have found out what a jerk this guy is before you got emotionally tangled up with him. On top of that he was rude and then hung up! You are usually on your good behavior when you first start dating someone so how mean would he be to you down the road! My condolences on the loss of your husband. I am glad you have the unconditional love from Peanut and I hope you meet a wonderful man who loves you and Peanut!

Thank goodness you know not to talk to him anymore. If I was ever in this position that would be my first concern. You can't love me if you don't love my dogs.I would not sacrifice my dogs for any man. I am sure there are plenty of nice men out there that will love your babies, just take your time. Sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, I know it must be very hard for you.

Jerk Much!! Gosh, i recently considered getting back together with my x. he came to visite and was fine with Ziggy, then came bed time and he didnt want my baby to sleep in bed with us! i was like: oh hell no! so clearly thats not going to work! But its fine, i truelly believe there is someone out there who will love Me and Ziggy. I mean gosh, look at all the cute daddies on this site! I will find him, and so will you.. Im sorry for the loss of your husband

He's an idiot. I think we should feel sorry for him though, he'll never know the love an animal can offer...and that it can often be more loyal than the love of a human.

I agree with all the other posters. You are so much better off to find out now that he definately isn't good enough for you!

As for pets having a soul and going to heaven. I know for a fact that there will be pets in "my" heaven. It wouldn't be heaven without them!
