| i think i'm nesting! i have had ants in my pants all week. i'm counting down the days... 5! til i pick up maci! i didn't go to sleep until after 1am last night thinking about all the things i should/could/want/need to buy. then this morning i woke up at 8am all in the cleaning mode! i hate cleaning. i got out our cleaning bucket and like 5 bottles of different cleaners! scrubbed the tile floors by hand [usually i do a quick, not so great job w/a mop.] vacuumed every thing. put away ALL my clothes that are laying around lol. did dishes...by hand!, and i even took off our futon cover so i can wash it. i have only done that once in the past 6 months because it's such a hassle! i usually fold it down &run the vacuum over it with some dry shampoo. now all that's left is to tidy up and do laundry. then i realized what i was doing... and was like holy crap i'm nesting for the arrival of Maci lol! my husband is going to love Maci even more than me if he gets to come home to a house this clean after every time he's gone haha! i almost even went to pick her up today, but i told myself no. you said next tues or wed. so stick with that. but i see her picture on my pc and i just melt lol! anyone else go through this with new dog arrival? shoot maci isn't a puppy, she's already 2.5 but i feel like i'm nesting for a little destructive puppy haha. |

| Thanks guys! I hope I'm a good mom! I don't have kids yet, Maci is gonna be my first haha! She comes with an ex pen, kennel, toys, grooming supplies, two beds, clothes, food, treats, seriously a crap load of stuff, yet I'm still buying more! I'm more of a dog person vs. a baby person so it's practically the same type of excitement! Although someday when we are ready, I'd love a human baby haha |

| I am so excited for you I remember when we were getting Jada (she was 2.5 and a rehome at the time) I couldn't wait, that was the longest 4 weeks of my life. Congrats on your new baby. She is a little beauty

| Haha I'm already on here 24/7 so I will definitely be updating! You guys are all so nice! I love the blue steel coats, buuuut I actually prefer the black ones. I love how dark and shiney they are when they are silk... seriously Maci is my perfect first yorkie I'll take a better pic of her face because she has some chocolate going on! I plan on getting another, but that will be down the road when I either find the next perfect rehome/rescue or have the $$$ for a good breeder. One step at a time... next thing you guys now I'll have like 10. :P JK All I want is Maci right now! UGHHHH. Someone tell me it's Tuesday :/ |

| She is adorable. I'm not sure I could wait until Tuesday. I'd want to go get her so I could play and snuggle with her all weekend long. Is there a particular reason you have to wait until Tuesday?

| I have a foster dog with me until Tuesday morning. It's a pitbull who although is alright with other dogs can be rough and would easily crush 8lb Maci with her 60lb puppy body lol. I took Izzy in first, so right now she is the priority to make sure she gets her perfect home too! Couldn't just drop her because I found Maci a little early. Plus now her owners get a chance to say goodbye and get her all ready to go [they're having her bathed, groomed, etc] Maci will be my first actual dog that isn't a foster/doesn't have to leave me, I think this is another reason I'm excited. SHE'S MINE! I don't have to pass her on. |
