| Owls out back. This morning around 5am I was opening the back door to let some air in (screen door is closed and my patio is enclosed) and heard some owls. I opened the screen door and looked at the houses on the other side of the wash when I saw movement. I looked to the top of the houses and saw two owls sitting on the top of two houses!!!! One of them was still settling in and had a huge wingspan. My pups are not allowed outside when it is dark or dusk, and can only go outside with me. I have the back yard sectioned off so they have room to run and play but small enough where I can easily watch them. The pics show the part of the yard for the pups. My friends do give my grief for putting in fake grass for the pups, but they love it and run around like crazy. |

| Always got to look to the sky's. We also have owls and hawls. Besides that, Coyotes, deer, and other things. We always go out with the boys on a leash and always have Carlo out when the Yorkies are out. |

| I have owls and hawks too. aarrgghh I was sitting on my screen in porch one night and saw the owl fly down and he stayed on ground for a few minutes, that was the biggest dang owl I have ever seen. He wasn't scared too much of himans either, we would see him purch on our fence and you could almost walk right up to him before he would fly away. I think he was looking for my babies. I started shoeing at him. Skat get out of here. I have wondered if there were something you could put put around your house to keep the owls and hawks away. ie. scarecrow or somehthing |

Is the area small enough to put netting over (would that help?!?). We have crows that are the size of a small spaniel - apart from that, everything else is small in the UK!! Sally + Harry x | |

| Great idea! I'll bet Carlo is a great deterrent to anything harassing your little yorkies

| We have woods behind us with owls and hawks that fly over the house, they scare the you know what outta me! Pita only goes out with an adult and our big girl Labrador! I loooove your 'grassy' area. I looks so nice and neat and I am sure the pups love it. |
