| I think my dog ate a rasin, How toxix are they??? Hi. was just eating a bowl of cereal. Had rasins in it and my yorkie was next to me. I dropped some off my spoon and I think he may have gotten a raisin. I of course feel nervous. I know they are dangerous but wonders if the one will do damage or do they have to have several??? We did call our vet, and he said just one or two wouldnt hurt him and he didnt feel too worried about it but for a dog his size like 5 would be more of a concern.... he didnt seem too worried. Not to question him but, has anyone elses dog ever done this? How did they do... These little booogers worry me to death.... Id far rather be sick than them. :O( |

| snopes.com: Raisins and Grapes Harmful to Dogs here is a link, as I am not sure how many would be considered toxic on one of our little guys. I think I would call my vet or poison control center

| I think you can trust your Vet. Gracie weighs right at 5 pounds and she ate part of an oatmeal rasin cookie. I freaked out and called the Vet. She said It would take more than two or three to have any toxic effect. I still worried all night but she was fine.
