Well maybe they still have a chance.. um if they stand when there isn't hair but flop when there is... thats a sign that her ear cartilage isn't very strong and her owners should give her a tablespoon of all natural yorgurt (it worked miracles on Max)

Well I get her next week, so I'll buy some yogurt and try that! Although maybe not because her floppers are cute! I'll post pics of her floppies and let the board decide haha!!

Yes floppies ARE adorable!!! and yes add pictures I love the pictures you guys put up here because all of the yorkies are beautiful!!

I am certainly no expert! I am new at Yorkies. Alphie is 8 mo. old. However his ears still are flopped over. I guess we have resigned ourselves to the fact they will most likely stay that way. But I have read that the ears, most likely will droop until they are done teething. This is not a hard and fast rule, but common. I have also read that a teaspoon of unflavored, all natural yogurt once day has made some yorkies perk up. Alphie has had it 3 days in row.....nothing yet. Its a good thing Alphie looks cute with floppy ears. :-)

I kind of wanted Jackson's to stay floppy!

LOL, makes him look more puppy like. But his stood up by 4 1/2 months after his first grooming.

Geno's ears are erect but the breeder told us she taped them when he was younger. She made it sound like if we want them erect to just tell the groomer you want him groomed to allow for the ears to stand cause if not, they will start to flop. We decided to have them stay up, but I think floppy ears are cute as well. We'll see what ends up happening lol

Cody's ears are floppy and I love them (he's also a big boy at 13 pounds). His ears never stood up and it was OK with us. He's our sweet baby, the best natured boy.

Cailee is our new baby and she's only 18 weeks and weighs a whopping 3 pounds. Her ears were up when we got her at 14 weeks.

I trimmed maci's ears, and saw that they wanted to stand but couldn't, so I did buy some yogurt. I just want to see them up, if they will go up! Otherwise I love her floppers!

I posted pics in the photography session, she is so cute with straight ears!
Sorry the pic is kinda blurry, she doesn't like to stand still&i wasn't in the mood to drag my big fancy camera out... but hey blurry or not she's a princess!

One I shaved about the top inch of her ear they stood right up! Haven't fallen once. I also gave her a tbsp of plain yogurt yesterday and today.

(Gasp) Maci!!! aww she is adorable with erect ears!!! gosh, i love how she looks beautiful with floppy or erect ears!!! i think these ears are working for her!!
