Does your Yorkie like to be brushed?

Ozzy only likes it when I brush under his chin. Otherwise, treats work well as a distraction for brushing. Most of the time he looks a bit scruffy, but we keep his hair short so it's pretty low maintenance.

Ian loves to be brushed and combed. When I get the brush and comb out, he will run to me and roll over on his back. He will fall asleep within five minutes of me brushing him...too funny!

Sophie never liked being brushed when she was a puppy. Now she doesn't seem to mind since she gets a treat after brushing I spray her brush with Yorkie Sheen first and the brush/comb glides right through, smells great and feels soft, too

Max doesn't mind being brush, though i don't think he likes it i think he just sits still to get it over with... however he hates it when i spray him.

Spray the brush or the comb instead of Max. Then he won't be bothered by the spray and the spray will be more evenly spread through his hair. My boys don't like the sound of sprays, lol. They go nuts if I use sprays on myself.

My Lexie Haaated to be brushed, so I started giving her a bully stick when it was time to brush, she was focused on the bully stick and didn't mind the brushing so much.

Where do you buy 'Yorkie Sheen" at?

We live in hick-ville..LOL We have a Walmart about 13 miles from here but no pet stores. I can order. I will be at PetsMart Thursday in Evansville.

Cooper LOVES getting brushed. I brush him every morning right after he wakes up. I say "Cooper, you wanna get brushed?" and he runs to me at full speed spinning in circles. He will sit there all day long and allow me to brush and comb him. He doesn't even mind that I spray his mouth with LebaIII or put bands in his hair. He'll go into a lay position and puts his head between his legs so I can prepare his topknot. And, he kisses my face the entire time he's being groomed, and his groomer can attest to that too!

Max doesn't mind once I catch him It's usually a game to find him when Cooper is done. Once I put him up on the counter he rolls over so I can brush his belly. He lets me do whatever I want but he'd prefer to be doing something else. But when I'm preparing his topknot he purposely tilts his head as far back as possible because he knows if he does that I can't reach the top of his head!

It's not available in stores anyway. it's sold by a YT member. She makes it herself.
