| Road Trip I'm going upstate NY this weekend for a family party. I am bringing my 7 month old Yorkie Roxy with me. I wanted to know do you put your dogs in a doggie seatbelt harness or in a kennel cab or just leave them free in the car?

| also how do I prepare her for this trip? Do I not feed her or feed her like an hour or two before we leave? She's been in the car for shorter rides up to 45 mins and has been fine...but this drive is about 2 and a half hours...

| I have a car seat that they are belted into. I would carry wet ones, paper towels, some water to wash her with plus put some type of protective covering on your car seat in case she gets sick. Better safe than sorry. But please make sure she is secure in the car

| ZoE makes the 2 1/2 to 3 hour trip across the state to visit my kids at their colleges about once a month. She rides in her car seat and after looking out the window for the first half hour, she sleeps the rest of the way.
