Kiko gets her rabies vaccine at the same time as the other vaccines. They did request that she stay at the vet clinic for about a half hour after she recieved the first one, just in case she had an adverse reaction. Since she didn't have an adverse reaction to the first one (last year), she didn't have to wait at the office this year.

Just talk to the vet about your concerns and what he/she recommends. A good vet should be willing to talk to you about it and come up with a plan that you are comfortable with and provides your new family member with the protection he/she needs to stay healthy.

Riley got his Rabies Vaccine and DHPP together at 16-weeks and then again a few weeks ago, at his annual exam and he was fine. I also stayed around for about 30 minutes after just to make sure.

As far as rabies goes, I do rabies because it is required by law. I always separate her shots and do Rabies separately.
