| Proud grooming feat! Well my poor guy still hasn't gotten his system completely back on track, and since he's been sick, he's required many "bum baths" as I call them, well tonight, he had a good poo, but still soft, and it got stuck (he has a long full coat) poor guy knows that means bath time, and he ran and hid and subsequently laid in his poo (WHAT A MESS). Well I decided I'm tired of bathing him 3 times a week, so I grabbed the shavers, yes shavers, and started on his butt. (poor dog) well I used to groom horses with shavers they are my weapon of choice, so away I went, I cleaned the bum area, then started on his hind legs, I left his tail, but trimmed the rest of his hind end hair, and I'm pleased. It doesn't even look worthy of my groomer making fun of me. I don't have any pics yet, I'm going to wait and see if it's a "poo proof" hair cut.... lol How do you all deal with long coats, and soft poos? I have a pack of baby wipes next to his tray but I find that doesn't clean the hair.

| Oh, has any one ever braided their yorkie's tail? I was thinking of braiding it so he wouldn't get it dirty.

| I braid Ayla's tail a lot for this reason. She does not seem to mind : )

| Ok good, I may try it today, the shave appears to be doing much better, cause he had a softish poo and it finally didn't get stuck... $10 says I'll get him shaved and clean and he'll just start having normal poos again (which I definitely wouldn't complain about ) Honestly I thought it was his new kibble, that was making him sick, but we're weaning on it again slowly from a bland diet, and he's fine, I switched him and myself to bottled water cause I also had an upset stomach, and both of us appear to be feeling better. I think it's time to discuss the water with the landlord. At least then I can get rid of one issue.
