Lol I think that the "you're in trouble name" is very effective.. whenever I say maximus!! He stops whatever he's doing and sits
. Cause he knows he's in trouble.

Hi, new here, My little princess is names AiZee. I always go to Arizona once a year. I forfitted my trip, and spent the airfare on my little girl, so she is named after the abbreviation for Arizona AZ

Elvis came with his name which suits our king of the Yorkies boy.


Scoobers was determined to be Scooby Doo by my son whom upon sight of him looked up at me realizing how small our new dog was and said, "he's just a Scoob," and ran up they lick kissed and have been partners in crime ever since....despite Scoobers going from 6 lbs at the time to the 21 he is now far over the 10lb max he was assured to be!

I had just got out of Army training when I got him. I had a drill sergeant with a really cool german shepard named Kaos, that he brought to the barracks sometimes. He listened very well, and was pretty intimidating to all of us. (even though I LOVE shephards) LOL.. anyway I had my little man for about a week before I thought it would be funny to name my 1.5lb baby boy, Kaos... And thats how he got his name. :D

My next will be named ...Chewie, I love that name too. :p

Cpt. Jack Sparrow mostly known as Jack got his name from my daughter. We have a black cat that my husband name Pearl (Black Pearl - yes we had recently watched Pirates of the Caribbean) and so it was only fitting that the Black Pearl have her Cpt., hence, Jack. When Jack gets a sister, her name shall be Elizabeth and we will call her Izzy because I like Izzy but need Elizabeth to complete our Pirates theme. Don't know if we will ever have a Will, but that is a consideration.

My daughter age 13 saved all her chore money for the last 4 years to be able to purchase her yorkie baby. She did so many odds and ends for us, neighbors and family I lost count. She was so excited and had a name picked out. "Jazabell" After spending countless months looking for the right baby, we finally found one!! Her baby Anniemay was born May 7th and her name was "Annie" when she was born. When Anniemay arrived the name just fit. My daughter couldn't bear to change it. I am very proud of how my daughter saved all her money to get her dog and then how she has taken care of her. Although, I seem to share the love, Annie is real spoiled. She goes to work with me every day.

Daddy tells people he's named after Evgeni Malkin which is half true haha I only agreed cause the origins of the name Geno is half italian, half greek which is fitting cause i'm italian and daddy is greek. I wanted an italian name so I compromised. :)

My last yorkie named Maya ,who is ancient Indian Godnes of the Moon ...so I choose the name Phoebe because is anciend Greek godnes of the Moon .
As you see , I love the Moon :) :p

My dd and i chose the name Swee Pea because the dog was little like a "pea" and so "sweet" When people ask me her name they agree it's the perfect name for her.

Mojo was going to be Mojo Jojo probably long before I even found his breeder.
Attachment 354886Yes, that's right, Mojo is named after the villain from the Powerpuff Girls. LOL Do not ask me why- it just is. :p It came to me one day with such certainty that it stuck. I would tell my family "I'm going to get a Yorkie and his name shall be Mojo Jojo". I knew in my heart he was my Mojo.

Maci's name was a little harder. I played around with a few names, but in the end I chose a name that complimented Mojo's. Maci is such a sweet little girl name and it just fits my sweet little princess puppy. :luvu:

My Male Sneakers...
From almost the first day he was here, he really was interested in "meeting" some of the Squirrels out in the yard. He would approach them just like a Cat. Head fixed steady, as he carefully took a step by step toward them. A "stalking" "sneaking" up toward them.
I think we called him "sneaky" a time or two, but Sneakers stuck.

My Female Becca...
From the moment I saw her, she captivated my heart with her grace and pride, a presence which no one could dismiss. She's a beauty, a Lover and a Warrior as well. I had read of that strength and perseverance recently, which told of a woman, who was a monument in the past. Her love and dedication impressed me so much, that I just had to honor her.
Rebbecca it was, and Becca (abbreviation) she is.

I loved your story about Sneakers. My Cricket used to stalk her little stuffed animals (especially this little mouse) like a cat and then pounce on it. It was cute to hear there is another yorkie-cat out there!
